In this tutorial, we investigate crack modeling and mechanical fracture parameters in a four-point bending test using ABAQUS. The specimen features a crack of 3 mm in length subjected to bending loads. For this analysis, we utilized a two-dimensional model with steel material, employing a contour integration procedure to accurately assess the fracture mechanics.
