The tunnel liner is modeled as a three-dimensional shell with concrete properties.

The simulation involves several phases: the first step applies the soil’s body force, the second step focuses on excavation, the third step addresses soil relaxation, and the final step incorporates the tunnel lining. The transient soil step is used as the most suitable approach for this type of analysis.
