About Course

Product Overview:

This package includes a comprehensive CAE file and a fully detailed video tutorial in English, guiding you through each step of simulating underwater explosions using the Eulerian approach in Abaqus. With the rise in global conflicts, bomb threats and unintentional explosions pose serious risks to critical infrastructure, including essential military, economic, and civilian facilities. This has intensified the focus on anti-blast research for structural safety.

As demand grows for resources like energy, irrigation, and potable water, numerous high dams are being constructed globally. These structures, due to their political and economic importance, are potential terrorist targets, as their destruction could lead to economic crises, significant casualties, and widespread media coverage. Since the events of September 11, public awareness regarding the security of dam infrastructure has markedly increased.

In this simulation, TNT and water are modeled as Eulerian parts, while the structure itself is modeled as a Lagrangian part. The JWL equation of state models TNT’s behavior, and the Us-Up equation is used for water. An appropriate damage prediction model for structural failure is also included. During the simulation, the structural wall undergoes failure as a result of TNT pressure.
