Course Introduction

The Introductory Abaqus Course is designed to provide participants with a strong starting point in using Abaqus for engineering simulation and analysis. Over 24 hours of practical, example-based training, learners will become familiar with the Abaqus interface, modeling workflow, and solver options. The course covers a wide range of applications, including static and dynamic problems, contact and nonlinear analyses, coupled thermal–mechanical simulations, fracture mechanics, composites, frequency, and buckling analyses. By the end of the course, participants will be able to create, run, and interpret Abaqus models confidently for real engineering applications.
