Description

Product Overview:

In this tutorial, we explore the simulation of a rigid body impact against a concrete wall reinforced with a composite plate utilizing the SPH method in Abaqus. All components are modeled in three dimensions. The behavior of the concrete is defined using the Concrete Damaged Plasticity (CDP) material model along with the SPH formulation. The composite, consisting of Epoxy-Glass layers, is modeled with three-dimensional shell elements using Hashin’s damage criterion. An explicit procedure is employed for this analysis.
